The small animals used in the experiment were divided into two groups, and each of these was under a different food processing. Rodents that had a first meal based on a rich level of fat and a light dinner had a better energy development throughout the day, which was reversed in mice that received a very light breakfast and a last meal more fat.

The abuse of foods high in cholesterol at night causes the metabolism to lose balance and equilibrium, which influences very important in energy processing. The heaviness that causes this type of diet has a negative effect on the body, since it produces a rise and steady weight loss is not recommended.

The study authors acknowledged that most people today do not follow a balanced diet, as stress and the constant trouble that is subject society often make breakfast left side, leading a sedentary lifestyle and health problems related to high cholesterol, obesity and diabetes. Anyway, never too late to change, especially if in pursuit of better functioning of human metabolism.
