- Flap: Used when there is significant tissue that can be exposed, such as bone, tendons or cartilage (elastic tissue less hard than the bone), in which treatment will move skin, usually accompanied by subcutaneous tissue, but without losing its own blood circulation and irrigation.

- Suture: Sewing the edges of a wound with thread, when it is mild.
